The YBS-480 follows on from the highly regarded YBS-32 as the entry level model in our baritone line-up.

Benefitting from many of the same features as our 62 and 82 baris, the 480 has been optimised for students and amateurs.

The weight has been optimised to give a fantastic playing feeling, whilst the new positioning of the strap ring makes playing more comfortable than ever.

Finally, Yamaha have added a peg design. The peg itself is not included with the YBS-480 model but it can be purchased separately giving players the option if they want it or not.

In summary this is a great new upgrade from the old YBS-32 model which had been in service for many years. The new YBS-480 feels better under the fingers, has a more lively and flexible tone and is a great Baritone that will do everything ever needed for the vast majority of players.
